Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood 04

In this episode the Nina+Tucker part is covered. We also see Scar in action. As in the old series this happenings have a huge impact in Edward. We also see some difference from the previous series, specially at the end… one hint: It has to do with Tucker+Scar.
I will not abound much in the episode happening. Since I’m pretty late publishing this one. I’m sorry for this. Been a bit busy.

Besides this I have really bad news for We FMA fans, be sure to read the next blog entry which should be up in a couple of minutes.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood 03

We see the Elric brothers get into Lior, nothing new here for folks who saw the previous series. So I’ll try to point out just some differences and my opinion overall.

Some things changed, one or two scenes were left out. Nothing too relevant really. The most significant thing was the priest transformation at the end, that wasnt in the manga at all. And when Rose shoots Al, the original was the other Priest dude. We do actually see a lot in common with the manga(original story). Especially the expression during the “comedy” times.

Something I want to seriously Point out is the difference between previous series Rose and this series Rose. The old series had a bunch of feeling filling fillers (what a phrase!) to make you feel “aww” for Rose. You know sympathy, sad, etc etc. When the truth was Rose was some just Lunatic Crazy Hopeless Maniac. Like in the Manga, The new anime version shows you exactly how blinded from reality Rose was. At least thats the picture I get, specially at her final scene at the end of the episode.

Info for those who dont know Full Metal Alchemist —> Click here <—

After more than 4 years in deep sleep we get our new series of our beloved Full Metal Alchemist story. This time the anime series is to follow the manga more closely. Or compared to the previous series, after half of the series. Will follow manga period.

We get a Sweet new opening, the song is called Again and it performed by none the less the awesome Yui.
And since I’m a cool guy I’ll let you have the Full version of the new opening which you can download RIGHT HERE.

We get right into the state searching for the Ice Alchemist which is doing naughty things around and is in some kind of vendetta/hate mission towards the state.

Animation is sweet, amazing, lovely… But is made by Bones, so is to be expected as they always rock our socks.

The only difference I could point out (like important difference) is how Hughes is introduced to the story. But I’ll let you see it.

This series is so far being subtitled (english) by the cool groups of:

Eclipse Subs
GSS Subs

I myself I’m watching the GSS subs, because it seems it got a better raw than Sinsen and Eclipse. But all three are subbing in 1280×720 quality. Both the 3 groups are very respected and appreciated!
I will try to post a weekly entry for each FMA episode, with screens and some information and of course download links. As more fansub groups pick up this series I will post them here
