Nipponmedia.net is proud to present its 2009 anime awards.
Many of the forum members have always thought it would be nice to do some kind of award or questionnaire for our favorite shows.
Finally V4sh took the initiative to compile together a series of questions to make our first NM awards.
This are the results of our own nipponmedia.net community questions and answers. Many nominees, but a few only selected as winners.
Remember you may not agree with some of this results, but this are just the winners by getting the most votes from our members.

At first the song was good, as most of Yui songs (maybe I’m a bit biased since I love her music). But as I listened to it more it grew a lot on me and now is a personal favorite and I really recommend it.

Is a good upbeat song. Great mood. Great sound. If your into her high mood songs you will definitely love this one too!

Asian Kung-Fu Generation presents Nano-Mugen Compilation 2009

The 2009 edition of Asian Kung-Fu Generation’s annual rock fest Nano-Mugen Festival takes place on July 19 and 20 at the Yokohama Arena this year. This compilation features songs from the festival participants including a new song by Asian Kung-Fu Generation.

First of All here is the download for the last episode of the series. Thanks to Speedstar and animebreaker which have been my favorite subbers of new challenger and always delivered. Props to them, Nipponmedia.net salutes you!

Speedstar New Challenger episode 26 (english subs)

I Just finished episode 26, which is the last episode of the 1st season in new challenger.
Or probably the last episode of new challenger.

It was a great episode, it was soo good seeing Ippo back in the challenger seat instead of just the dull defending position.
The series ends with an extremely good episode. We see ippo completely focused in miyata and developing as a better boxer. Trying to overcome the weakness of the Dempsey roll.
Aoki will have his first title shot ever.
Itagaki will go for the rookie championship.

Takamura will have his first world tittle match defense.
And finally Miyata the OPBF champion waiting for Ippo.

Rikiya Koyama, the voice actor of the Mamoru Takamura character in the Hajime no Ippo boxing anime franchise, has revealed in his blog on Friday that a sequel to the ongoing Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger television series is being planned. Koyama was posting about the end of dialogue recording for the series, since the cast just finished work on the 26th and final episode. (The final episode, “New Challenger,” will air in Japan on June 30.) At the end of his Friday blog entry, he wrote, “Of course, a sequel is also being planned!!”(Source)

We can expect the third part of the Fighting Spirit anime series to begin with a bang!
Well, new challenger began with quite the action.
Lots of goodness ahead in the Ippo world.

This is one of my top fav anime series of all time. I will surely buy all this on dvd/blu ray when I have the opportunity.

Completely sure Hajime No Ippo: New Challenger IS and will keep being THE BEST 2009 ANIME.
