Sadly we lose some of the best fansub groups in the FMA: Brotherhood. Right now I dont know about Eclipse or the other fansubs groups about this subject of Funanimation treating them to drop  the series.

As you know FMA: Brotherhood is being subbed by many, and I think every week a new comes out. Now we got guys like The Alchemists doing the subs and many others.

So hang in there, we probably wont lose our dear FMA wekly fix. Please continue to support the fansub groups, specially the ones who dont sucumb to big corporations.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood 04

In this episode the Nina+Tucker part is covered. We also see Scar in action. As in the old series this happenings have a huge impact in Edward. We also see some difference from the previous series, specially at the end… one hint: It has to do with Tucker+Scar.
I will not abound much in the episode happening. Since I’m pretty late publishing this one. I’m sorry for this. Been a bit busy.

Besides this I have really bad news for We FMA fans, be sure to read the next blog entry which should be up in a couple of minutes.

Naruto Shippuuden Movie 2: Bonds
Has just been released to the internet with english subtitles.

The movie was good overall. But I liked the first shippuuden movie a bit more. Something I didnt liked or felt they didnt belong here were:

1. Hinata.. what the heck was she doing in that movie? It seems the movie writers just wanted to please everyone and they give Hinata an extreme short time in the movie. Which pretty much meant nothing. She does not do anything relevant. Not even irrelevant. She is just some extra.

2. Sky ninjas + final boss.. and how are they linked. If you ask me the whole lets bomb Konoha was such a waste. It doesnt mean anything. By doing this it implies the sky ninjas didnt knew about medical psychopath. And they shouldnt even know. A Guy who travels the world healing and helping people just to find the secret scroll of rebirth? Seriously? How lame is that? Cant you be a merchant or something? The most evil boss couldnt think another way of traveling hiding his identity but to be a medical savior hero. The connection between him and the sky ninjas are pretty much just a few sky ninjas in the ruins and he screaming sky ninjas FTW. So why so many boats outside in the sea attacking konoha? Couldnt they just go get their flying peruvian ruins and the surprise! No… they launched some meaningless attack to konoha, completely irrelevant to the story. Which I’m thinking it was just to give other favorites konoha stars some screen time.

3. The weird ass plot. Ninjas came together to un-bury a flying peruvian ruins that has an dead demon inside which they revive and then capture people to make them unhappy(duh) so they can feed the unhappy chakra needs of a sealed demon.. right. If the demon was sealed there we can assume the sky ninjas didnt wanted him to be around right? And he was dead there. So we can assume they killed him. But the same ninjas come to revive him huh? This  demon doesnt have to do anything with the hidden omgzordness weapon the ruins have. Which I assume is why the sky ninjas want he ruins. To take revenge with the ninja countries and be the all powerfull flying ninja queers they are. But they also want to revive the unhappy demon. Unnecesary complicated plot story anyone?

Besides this the movie is very enjoyable, great animation. We see around 300 rasengans lol. At many points in the movie I expected naruto to launch a fuuton rasengan but he didnt. I also wanted hinata to be jelous and hit naruto or something. Maybe that would excuse her lame screen time in this movie. Overall is very enjoyable, but far from being the best naruto movie if you ask me.

V4sh Reviews: Valkyria Chronicles Episode 3

After each joining the Militia of their own volition Welkin and Alicia are once again thrown together as the top two officers in squad 7. Upon meeting their new squadies it becomes apparent that some of the older members aren’t happy with Welkin becoming the squads new commander, and Rosie in particular shows a strong dislike to Isara, due to her Darcsen blood. Awww poor Isara… Its ok you have a tank, Rosie doesn’t.
No sooner then introductions are made squad 7 are thrown into their first mission, to recapture a key bridge in Vasel town. What a convenient opportunity for Welkin to win over some of his more dubious subordinates with his tactics and some tank hax.

Not much can be said about the animation and soundtrack quality that I haven’t  already said. Its nice to see that the casual racism, and discrimination against the Darcsen people displayed in the game is still present in the anime, that it hasn’t been toned down for a younger audience.

Just a quick note about the ayako release, it seems that VLC has some issues with the chaptering they use, so I recommended you use Media Player Classic that comes with CCCP.

Also a reminder that the OP and ED have to be in the same folder as each weeks episode otherwise they will not play.
