Per the Hollywood Reporter, Reeves is attached to play Spike Spiegel, a reformed criminal turned space cowboy and copilot of the Bebop, who, like a character from the actor’s past, is well-versed in kung fu and other combat skills but is toting around quite a few personal demons.

lol yes, it seems Mr. Reeves wants to play Spike for some reason…. Its still a mystery how he keeps getting some movie papers. So he will probably end up being Spike. Dont miss interpret me, I like some of his movies but lol…

say what you want about keanu reeves’s acting skills. he just IS spike. he embodies the man i swear. reeves could sleep walk through this film and i would not be disapionted.
